Here We Go Again

With Americans worried about paying their bills, putting food on the table, keeping a roof over their heads or keeping their jobs let alone finding one, the silly politicos are worried about old tax returns or college transcripts.
The nation is about to go over what some are calling a “financial cliff” that could be the precursor to a new and even worse recession/depression and Mitt Romney and Barack Obama are complaining about ancient history.
Romney’s minions want the President to tell all us about his time at Columbia University (what is he hiding now) and the President’s flunkies what to see if Romney avoided paying taxes on his income over the last ten years.
Just to give you some idea of how really silly this is please realize that most American’s that pay taxes try to avoid them. Nothing wrong with that, perfectly legal. All those tax loopholes where written into law by congress so people could avoid taxes. You take a deduction for your mortgage interest you are taking advantage of a tax loophole to avoid taxes. Gee whiz wonder if the rich guy had anyone helping him to avoid taxes? How silly - of course he did.
And as far as the President is concerned who cares if he got an A or C in political science at Columbia. He’s president of the United States, Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces. I think he already got the job what difference does it make if he cut class or not.
But each is inferring that the other did something less then “honorable” and therefore is not qualified to be the leader of the free world.
Here’s a novel idea – deal with the here and now. Put forth your ideas for fixing the damn economy which you and your cronies in Washington broke in the first place.
